Steph Shibble ~ Creative Director & Founder
Carefully curated in regional New South Wales, Salubrious Living is a collection of homewares and beautiful goods showcasing the exquisite craftsmanship of small Australian businesses. Each item is chosen for its timeless artistry and superb quality, from recycled woolen throws and handloomed towels, to handcrafted ceramics and homespun baskets.
The seed for Salubrious Living was planted when Steph was a young girl. Growing up on a property near Dubbo NSW, Steph’s family would share a meal around the table every night.
“We’d often compliment my mother’s delicious cooking by saying, ‘Mum, this is Salubrious’. It became a word we used to describe lots of beautiful things in our day to day lives and a bit of running joke when we thought something was scrumptious."

This appreciation has since fostered from a passion into a business, when Steph launched Salubrious Living while on maternity leave from Primary Teaching at the end of 2019. Steph had long nurtured a vision to create an online experience of beautiful wares and had held a life long dream of running her business from her property near Narromine NSW. This became a reality when, during the worst drought on record, Salubrious Living was featured in the 2019’s Buy from the Bush campaign..
The business has since been seen in Country Style, Graziher, The Daily Telegraph & Home Beautiful, with Steph sending an eclectic array of considered parcels right across Australia. Every single item that the creative stocks is something Steph herself would love to have in her own home – a sure sign it’s a right fit for Salubrious Living.

It’s the extra special little touches that keep people coming back; from our hand-wrapped packages to the notes of appreciation.”
With her two children Dolly & Poppie at her feet, Steph hopes to continue to provide inspiring gifts and homewares to brighten the homes of others for many years to come.
