These hand woven African baskets are from Bolga in Northern Ghana. Traditionally used to carry goods, the Ghanaian bolga baskets are famous for their durability and long lasting quality. Made from dried elephant grass, dyed using a combination of natural occurring dyes from the earth and fabric dyes to achieve the vibrant colours and patterns recognisable throughout African culture.

Useful to use as storage baskets, Easter baskets, market baskets, fruit baskets, toy baskets, shopping baskets, picnic baskets, beach baskets – the uses are endless!
